SIA’s Thanksgiving Celebration: A Day of Gratitude and Togetherness

On Wednesday, November 20th, Stepping Stone International Academy (SIA) hosted a beautiful Thanksgiving event filled with joy, gratitude, and togetherness. The celebration, led by Teacher Thi Thi, Teacher Jessica, and Ms. Phanna, brought the entire school community together for a day of heartfelt moments and meaningful activities.

The event began with an uplifting worship session led by the worship team. Both students and teachers joined in with enthusiasm, creating an atmosphere of praise and unity. The heartfelt worship set the tone for the rest of the day, filling the room with gratitude and joy.

Following the worship, Teacher Thi Thi introduced the special performances prepared by the students. The elementary students performed a touching rendition of Give Thanks, which was warmly received by everyone. This was followed by a beautiful solo performance by Maneasha Suong.

The highlight of the event was an inspiring message from the school administrator, Mr. Paul Lim, where he highlighted the importance of being thankful in every situation. His words resonated deeply with the attendees, reminding everyone of the value of gratitude in their daily lives.

Adding to the festive spirit, Teacher Thy Thy organized a lively game called “Pass the Box.” Participants eagerly took on fun challenges hidden inside the box, such as singing childhood songs, dancing, and even imitating their favorite teachers. The joy and laughter during the game were contagious, creating cherished memories for all.

After the activities, it was time to enjoy a delicious lunch. Parents, students, and teachers shared a potluck feast featuring a variety of mouthwatering dishes, including pizza, donuts, roasted chicken, fresh fruits, and more. The sight of everyone sharing food, laughter, and stories was a testament to the strong sense of community at SIA.

As the day came to a close, it was clear that this Thanksgiving celebration was more than just an event; it was a time to reflect, connect, and express gratitude. Everyone left with full hearts and stomachs, grateful for the opportunity to come together and celebrate.

What a wonderful Thanksgiving Day it was at SIA! All glory to the Lord!
