A Night to Remember: Stepping Stone International Academy's Senior Send-Off Party

As the final days of high school drew near for the seniors of Stepping Stone International Academy (SIA), the SSG organized a memorable send-off party to bid them a heartfelt farewell. On the evening of Monday, June 3, the secondary students, along with the seniors, gathered for a night filled with fun, fellowship, and unforgettable moments.

The evening began with a delightful barbecue party prepared by the teachers. The aroma of grilled pork filled the air, setting the stage for a festive night. As the seniors arrived, the dinner commenced, turning into a grand feast enjoyed by all. Laughter and conversation flowed as students and teachers enjoyed the delicious spread, celebrating the bonds forged over the years.

With everyone satisfied and the mood set, the program proceeded with a series of engaging activities. The SSG had thoughtfully prepared a couple of games designed to create lasting memories for the seniors. The first game was a question-and-answer session with a twist. Questions about the seniors were posed, and as each answer was given, the respondent applied a playful puff of powder on their chosen senior. The game concluded in a whirlwind of fun and laughter, leaving the seniors powdered and smiling.

The next game was a makeup contest, where everyone was divided into groups, each featuring a senior as their model. Armed with makeup kits, participants had to transform their models into the sassiest versions of themselves. The competition was fierce and entertaining. In the end, Paul Kim and Daniel Bae tied for the title of the sassiest senior, narrowly beating out Scott Sun, who looked more like of a lost tiger; Helena Lee, with her cute and light makeup; and both Roshan Gatmen and Emma Hur, who sported hilariously beaten looks.

For the final activity, participants had the opportunity to ask questions to three seniors of their choice. Each senior, adorned with their new makeup, selected random questions to answer with honesty and sincerity. This segment brought out a mix of laughter and heartfelt moments as seniors shared more about themselves, leaving a lasting impression on their younger schoolmates.

As the program drew to a close, each senior received a handmade card with heartfelt notes from the secondary department, along with a cake adorned with their picture. The seniors received these surprise gifts with gratitude, their smiles reflecting the warmth and affection of the gesture. Each senior then took a moment to deliver a farewell speech, offering advice and words of encouragement to their peers.

The night concluded with a prayer, sealing the event with a sense of unity and gratitude. As the night ended, the seniors and secondary students settled in for a memorable sleepover, cherishing their final moments together within the four corners of SIA.

The send-off party was a beautiful testament to the bonds formed at Stepping Stone International Academy, marking the end of one journey and the exciting beginning of another for the graduating seniors.
